I'm going to miss them... Now that school is about to start, it also means that the gals are about to embark on their SEP trips. I am going to miss them so much, after spending so much time with them during the holidays. Sigh. I wonder if things will change. Everything is so unpredictable. These are times when i hate changes. I wish everything would remain the same and my darlings will stay put. :D but i guess one doesn't always get what they wish for. Oh well, i'm going to make new friends, or at least that's what i hope. Hiaz... life is going to be so miserable in NUS this semester.

Dilemma... Talks about SEP (Student Exchange Program) usually leads up to discussion about the post-SEP trip to either US or Europe. Qiuyi, Anne & Liyi are going to tour US after their semester in US while Dorothy is going to tour Europe. I'm caught in a dilemma cos i cannot decide which place i'd rather go. Both sounds so exciting and since i've never been to either place, i want to go to both. Travelling in both US and Europe is so going to burn a hole in my pockets. Wanqing is choosing Europe because there's alot of places to shop. But i would rather go US, being not much of a shopper myself. On the other hand, Dot is do right about the rich and fantabulous history that Europe has. Sigh. The whole trip could come to about $2K which i obviously do not have and in order to go, i would have to scrimp and save every last bit of my allowance i'm going to get and that might not even be enough if i really want to enjoy myself. I am super regretting not working this holidays. Then again, even if i manage to come up with the money, my dad might not let me go in the end. Eventhough he'll say things like i'm already 21 and suppose to make my own decisions and live with the consequences, the reality is actually him making the decisions and me living with the consequences. Which sometimes makes me want to pull my hair out! Alright digressing... He thinks that Malaysia is dangerous, how am i going to convince him that US is safe? Help! On another note, i'll be on my way to China (Fuzhou & Shanghai) with the family this thursday. Accompanied by some not that desirable OLD PEOPLE who likes to nag and scold me just because they can, i seriously doubt i'm going to enjoy myself. Anyway, this would be my second trip to Fuzhou and totally not looking forward to it. Shanghai on the other hand, i've never been but heard from our dear Anne that it is very modern and actually comparable to Singapore or even better. Shanghai is the only reason why i am actually making this trip which isn't really trip and eventhough they don't say so, i think my parents are kind of going to be short of money for a while. Sigh. Watched Fantastic Four with Liting, Anne, Tze & WK. Saw Lingfeng, a JC classmate at Lido and a primary school classmate, Zhiwei who happened to be watching the same show and was coincidentally sitting just one row behind me. Got shushed by the guy beside me who told us to "keep it down" which later we decided that it is because Anne was too loud. Muahhaa. Kidding. That guy was an ass... he wasn't really quiet himself. Tsk tsk. Show was quite nice, something i would watch and later not think about it at all. I'm really tired already and i haven't packed for the trip. With shopping tomorrow afternoon, dinner followed by mambo at night followed by drawbridge on thursday, i guess i'm left with no time at all to pack my bag. I'd better get on with it. :) Oh and did i mention this??? I've got new furniture!!! :)

Trouble... I have a knack for getting into trouble. A peaceful saturday afternoon was destroyed when after getting a haircut, i proceeded to almost scratch my eye out with my specs. I guess my dad was right when he said that i'm not gentle enough. The scratch took up half of my eyeball, hehe, thank goodness i'm not blind in one eye now. It hurt so bad that normal eye drops and a nap didn't work and i actually had to go to SGH. I was tearing half the way with my eye shut cos it just hurts too bad to even try to see where i'm going. If that wasn't bad enough, there was an outbreak of dengue fever and half the Accident & Emergency Department was closed and only those with fever and stuff can enter while people who have broken limbs and stuff (like me) have to go to the other half. Even before anyone actually attended to me, i was told to pay $80.00. :S Waiting time was a mere 3 HOURS... if they took any longer, guess i might have really gone blind. Anyway, the first two docs that saw ny injury couldn't figure out what to do and only gave me an eye patch, so was referred to an eye specialist in the end. They don't call them specialists for nothing, he applied this lotion to my eye a shone ultraviolet light thingy. The scratch became super clear. At least that's what he and my mum say. Cos it was my eye and i don't actually get to see from a third person's view. Anyway, the scratch is big, long but not deep. Still... my vision is somewhat affected. Kinda blurry. And to top it all off, my mum told me the doc kinda cute. From my blurry point of view with a patched right eye... i kinda agree with her... hiaz hiaz... he was very friendly too... Guess it just isn't my day... haha... Anyway, a blind person can't go anywhere without her parents so i'm temporary grounded... sorta... had to pass on the drawbrige trip with the gals and walk around with a patch with everyone giving me weird looks. hiazz..... my weekend was FANTASTIC. :S
